May 2005 - Centeye awarded a Phase I SBIR, and later a Phase II SBIR, by AFRL to develop a mutliaperture optical system enabling omnidirectional imaging.

December 2004 - Centeye awarded a Phase I SBIR, and later a Phase II SBIR by DARPA to develop a sensor suite to study use of optical flow sensors to improve survivability of rotary-wing UAVs in confined environment.

July 2004 - Centeye founder Geoffrey Barrows awarded, joint with Prof. Mandyam V. Srinivasan and Prof. Javaan S. Chahl, both of the Australian National University, the Simms award for best paper by the Royal Aeronautical Society for their joint paper written in the Aeronautical Journal.
