Integrate
Incorporate existing Centeye chips, sensors, assemblies, or supporting technology.
Applications
Centeye develops specialized sensing and embedded vision technology for applications where conventional camera-and-compute architectures become too large, power-hungry, bandwidth-intensive, slow, or poorly matched to the information the system actually needs.
Centeye technology can be integrated into an existing system, adapted around application-specific constraints, or developed for requirements that existing approaches cannot meet.
01
Conventional machine vision often begins by generating a large image stream, moving it through the system, and processing it downstream—even when the application needs only a small part of that information.
Centeye can combine purpose-designed sensing, selective acquisition, sparse readout, flexible sampling, and embedded processing to limit unnecessary data movement and computation.
The sensing architecture can be designed around the information the system actually needs.

02
Systems operating indoors, close to structures, or beyond continuous communications need onboard measurements that remain useful without relying on an uninterrupted external link.
Centeye has experience in optical-flow sensing, embedded ranging and stereo concepts, low-light sensing, and constrained onboard perception, including flight demonstrations in GPS-denied and confined environments. These are sensing and perception technologies that can support a customer’s broader navigation architecture.
03
Some tracking problems do not require a conventional high-resolution image. The useful result may be a target location, trajectory, angular position, motion estimate, cue, or confidence measure.
Centeye’s background includes high-rate tracking, flexible-acuity sensing, small-target detection, and purpose-designed focal-plane architectures. The sensor and embedded processing can be organized around the task-relevant output rather than continuous full-frame imagery.
04
Wires, cables, branches, poles, netting, and other narrow structures can be difficult for conventional perception pipelines, particularly when their appearance changes with background, illumination, or viewpoint.
Centeye can approach these problems across the sensing stack, coordinating focal-plane geometry, optics, temporal sampling, embedded signal processing, and algorithms around the structures and conditions that matter.
05
Mass, volume, thickness, wiring, heat, and power can make a conventional camera module poorly suited to miniature robotics, embedded systems, wearable sensing, distributed sensors, and unusual form-factor integrations.
Centeye has developed sub-gram and highly compact sensing architectures and can adapt sensor heads, electronics, optics, packaging, and interfaces around customer constraints.
06
Many machine-perception tasks ultimately need only a small amount of information: motion, range, trajectory, location, direction, confidence, or event timing.
Centeye can co-design the sensor, sampling strategy, embedded processing, and interpretation around that task-relevant quantity rather than automatically producing a conventional full-frame video stream. Working from silicon through system integration makes it possible to change the representation itself when the application calls for a different measurement.
A Common Approach
The value is not limited to custom hardware or a custom algorithm. Centeye can change the representation and sensing architecture itself when that is the most effective way to solve the problem, then carry that design through the rest of the sensing stack.
